About the Role

The Solutions Architect is responsible for designing scalable, data-driven solutions that align business objectives with technical execution. This role leads information architecture and solution design across client engagements—ensuring systems, processes, and integrations are structured for long-term success, scalability, and reporting accuracy.

The Solutions Architect acts as the bridge between strategy and execution, owning architecture, guiding implementation, and ensuring high-quality outcomes across all engagements.

Key Accountabilities

Solution Architecture & Information Design

  • Own end-to-end solution architecture across client engagements

  • Design scalable system architectures, including CRM structure, object design, and integrations

  • Lead information architecture (object design, relationships, lifecycle structure)

  • Build and maintain architecture documentation (Lucidchart, system diagrams, workflows)

  • Ensure all solutions are designed for scalability, maintainability, and reporting integrity

Systems Structure & Implementation Design

  • Define system structure, configuration approach, and implementation strategy

  • Ensure proper setup of pipelines, lifecycle stages, automation logic, and workflows

  • Design how systems should function across marketing, sales, and service processes

  • Establish standards and best practices for system configuration and build approach

  • Ensure alignment between business requirements and system functionality

Client Advisory & Technical Consulting

  • Serve as the technical and architectural advisor on client engagements

  • Lead discovery, architecture workshops, and solution design sessions

  • Translate business goals into scalable system and process solutions

  • Provide strategic recommendations on tech stack, integrations, and system design

  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to executive stakeholders

Solution Oversight & Execution Alignment

  • Own the architecture through execution (even when not building directly)

  • Brief and guide Solutions Engineers and Implementation Specialists on build requirements

  • Ensure implementations align with defined architecture and best practices

  • Partner with Project Managers to align scope, timelines, and delivery approach

  • Manage backlog and prioritize work to ensure forward progress

Reporting & Insights Architecture

  • Design reporting frameworks aligned to client KPIs and business goals

  • Ensure systems are structured to support accurate reporting and visibility

  • Build or guide creation of dashboards, reports, and analytics layers

  • Validate that reporting outputs align with business logic and stakeholder needs

Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement

  • Conduct QA on solutions built by the Harvest team to ensure architectural integrity and performance

  • Review team output to ensure adherence to standards and scalability

  • Identify gaps in architecture or process design and proactively resolve

  • Recommend improvements to internal frameworks, templates, and delivery processes

Client Delivery & Enablement

  • Support Go-Live readiness, ensuring systems are functional, accurate, and scalable

  • Deliver executive-level summaries of architecture and outcomes

  • Train client stakeholders on system design, structure, and reporting usage

  • Ensure smooth handoff to Client Success or ongoing support teams

  • Proven experience in Solutions Engineering, Architecture, or RevOps consulting
  • Strong expertise in HubSpot (or similar CRM) and system design
  • Ability to lead client conversations while guiding internal execution

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Process Documentation, or Technical Implementation.

  • Strong familiarity with LucidChart, process mapping, and structured documentation.

  • Experience in client-facing technical roles, including solution demonstrations and implementation support.

  • Ability to manage project tasks efficiently while ensuring accuracy in technical documentation.
