Solutions Consultant (Sales)

About the Role

HarvestROI is a remote-first HubSpot agency helping growth-minded companies align their people, processes, and technology to drive real revenue outcomes. We work with clients at every stage of their HubSpot journey — from first-time implementations to full RevOps transformations.

We're looking for a Solutions Consultant to join our Sales team. In this role, you'll serve as the strategic and technical bridge between prospective clients and the right HarvestROI solution — leading discovery, conducting portal audits, crafting tailored proposals, and guiding deals from first conversation to close.

Key Accountabilities

Sales Consulting & Discovery

  • Lead structured discovery sessions to uncover client goals, challenges, and system architecture.

  • Translate client needs into clear, actionable opportunities aligned with HarvestROI's service offerings.

  • Deliver expert insight on HubSpot technical feasibility and strategic fit.

HubSpot Audits & Analysis

  • Conduct comprehensive HubSpot Health and Adoption audits to identify gaps and areas for improvement.

  • Deliver strategic assessments that inform solution development and ROI framing.

Proposal Development & Deal Support

  • Build tailored solutions and proposals rooted in discovery insights and audit findings.

  • Support proposal presentations and the closing process by articulating business value clearly.

Sales Intelligence

  • Review call recordings (Fathom) to extract insights, objections, and follow-up actions.

  • Consolidate findings into actionable intelligence that improves sales strategy and execution.

Prospect Engagement

  • Coordinate call scheduling and maintain clear communication with prospects throughout the pipeline.

  • Manage nurture campaigns and sequencing via HubSpot to keep deals moving forward

Scorecard Metrics

  • Discovery-to-close conversion rates by milestones

  • Volume and quality of completed audits

  • Proposal to close ratio

  • Number of actionable insights delivered from call reviews

  • Prospect engagement and follow-up activity completion rates

  • Enhanced services and subscription sales

Qualifications & Experience

1. HubSpot Expertise

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience with all HubSpot CRM Hubs
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct audits, configure portals, and build scalable solutions
  • Familiarity with HubSpot's evolving AI tools is a plus.

2. Consultative Sales Background

  • Proven track record in a consultative sales or pre-sales support role
  • Experience leading discovery conversations, writing scope briefs, and presenting solutions with ROI framing.
  • Background in RevOps alignment or systems consulting (bonus if you’ve sold into CEO’s, CROs, CMOs, or RevOps leaders).

3. Technical & Systems Fluency

  • Ability to map out current-state tech stacks, identify workflow bottlenecks,  and recommend HubSpot-native or integrated solutions.
  • Familiarity with CRM data architecture, buyer’s journey, and revenue operations.
  • Experience scoping third-party integrations with HubSpot — native and custom API 

4. Communication & Proposal Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills — you know how to present business value, not just feature lists.
  • Experience creating customized sales proposals grounded in discovery insights and audit data.
  • Comfortable analyzing call recordings and distilling deal intelligence for the broader team.

Ideal Professional Backgrounds

  • Former HubSpot Partner Agency Experience
  • RevOps Manager or CRM Admin with pre-sales exposure
  • SaaS Solutions Architect or Sales Engineer with marketing/sales system focus
  • HubSpot Implementation Specialist or RevOps Strategist at a consulting firm
  • Pre-Sales Consultant with marketing/sales tech focus
