Solutions Consultant (Sales)

About the Role

The HubSpot Solutions Consultant is responsible for accelerate new sales revenue by providing a strategic, technical, and operational consultative sales experience, demonstrating our value and uncovering opportunities throughout the sales cycle from discovery to close.

Key Accountabilities

Sales Consulting & Support

  • Deliver expert insights on HubSpot technical feasibility and strategic fit.

  • Translate client challenges and goals into clear, actionable opportunities that align with HarvestROI's offerings.

Discovery & Client Needs Assessment

  • Lead structured discovery sessions to understand client goals, challenges, and system architecture.

  • Document and communicate client requirements for audit, scoping, and optimization planning.

Audits & Analysis

  • Conduct comprehensive HubSpot Health, and Adoption audits of existing HubSpot platforms and processes to identify gaps and areas for improvement.

  • Deliver strategic assessments that guide solution development and ROI alignment.

Proposal Development & Deal Support

  • Create tailored solutions and proposals based on discovery and audit insights.

  • Support proposal presentations and the closing process by articulating business value.

Sales Intelligence & Enablement

  • Review Fathom call recordings to extract insights, objections, and follow-ups.

  • Consolidate findings into actionable intelligence for sales strategy and execution.

Prospect Engagement & Communication

  • Coordinate and manage call scheduling for the sales prospects.

  • Communicate with prospects to maintain momentum and manage expectations.

  • Manage nurture campaigns and sequencing via HubSpot or related tools.

Scorecard Metrics

  • Discovery-to-close conversion rates by milestones

  • Volume and quality of completed audits

  • Proposal to close ratio

  • Number of actionable insights delivered from call reviews

  • Prospect engagement and follow-up activity completion rates

  • Enhanced services and subscription sales

Qualifications & Experience

1. HubSpot Platform Mastery

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience with all HubSpot CRM Hubs
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct audits, configure portals, and build scalable solutions
  • Familiarity with HubSpot's AI tools like Breeze is a plus.

2. Consultative Sales Enablement

  • Proven track record in a consultative sales or sales support role
  • Experience leading discovery conversations, writing scope briefs, and presenting solutions with ROI framing.
  • Background in RevOps alignment or systems consulting (bonus if you’ve sold into CEO’s, CROs, CMOs, or RevOps leaders).

3. Process Documentation & System Thinking

  • Ability to map out current-state tech stacks, identify workflow bottlenecks, and translate needs into HubSpot-native or integrated solutions.
  • Familiarity with CRM data architecture, buyer’s journey, and revenue operations..

4. Pre-Sales or Solutions Engineering Collaboration

  • Past role interfacing with Sales Engineers or Technical Consultants, especially in the handoff between discovery and solution design.
  • Able to analyze call recordings (e.g., Fathom, Gong) and extract deal intelligence.

5. Proposal Development & Strategic Framing

  • Experience creating customized sales proposals rooted in discovery insights and audit data.
  • Strong communication skills to present business value, not just feature lists.

6. HubSpot Ecosystem Fluency

    • Understanding of third-party integrations with HubSpot (e.g., native and custom API).
    • Able to scope feasibility, manage risks, and align on dependencies across tools.

Ideal Professional Backgrounds

  • Former HubSpot Partner Agency Experience
  • RevOps Manager or CRM Admin with pre-sales exposure
  • SaaS Solutions Architect or Sales Engineer with marketing/sales system focus
  • HubSpot Implementation Specialist or RevOps Strategist at a consulting firm
